Promoting a Safer Church

At St Peter’s Church, we are committed to the safeguarding, care and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults. As a church, we recognise that not all harmful or abusive behaviour is obvious. Sometimes actions or patterns of behaviour that are difficult to describe can still cause hurt or distress. We encourage anyone with concerns about behaviour that feels inappropriate, unkind, controlling, or harmful to speak to us in confidence.

A copy of the Parish Safeguarding Statement can be found by clicking this link.
You can also find further safeguarding information on the diocesan website: Click here
All PCC members, Sunday School leaders and church staff are DBS checked.

If you have any safeguarding concerns relating to the parish, please contact the Vicar or one of the Parish Safeguarding Leads using the details below.

If a child or adult is in immediate danger of serious harm, call 999 immediately.
